The House

Our rural tourism house is named O Canto da Terra, which means “Song of the Land” in the Galician language. It is located in the area known as Ribeira Sacra, which is delimited by the Miño, Cabe, and Sil rivers in the southern part of the province of Lugo. Visiting Ribeira Sacra opens up a door to the magic of Galicia’s interior, where you can travel through natural landscapes that still represent one of Spain’s best kept secrets.

Here you can discover a land that combines architectural heritage, cultural traditions, and natural beauty, where you can enjoy the local wines and a remarkable cuisine notable for its use of top‑quality ingredients.

Our rural tourism house is a traditional village home built of wood and stone, which has been fully refurbished based on the principles of green and healthy architecture. Granite, chestnut wood, and terracotta tile are all predominant elements.

Our heating is generated using a geothermal system, and in combination with good insulation and a favourable orientation, it gives our house a warm and cosy indoor environment. Our house has rooms and apartments with a total capacity for 18 guests, plus a living-dining room area, a garden space with a paved terrace and barbecue for common use by our guests, and vehicle parking.
